Accessibility Statement

Tourhopers aims to make the website and the booking process usable for everyone. We constantly aim to resolve issues that we know still need fixing. If you are interested in sightseeing and want to know which tours use a wheelchair and which do not, then we tell you everything.

H2: How do we make Tourhopers accessible?

We want to make sure that every customer can find and book a tour on Tourhopers that suits their needs. We aim for WCAG 2.2 Level AA. While at present, the site only meets the requirement partially, we are familiar with the issues that need resolving. If anything during the entire process on our website stops you, you can easily contact us, and we will book the tour for you with all your preferences.

Conformance status

As we have mentioned, Tourhopers aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, also known as WCAG 2.2 at Level AA. The site is partially conformant to the guidelines, as some of the content does not meet the standard yet.

Content we do not control

All the tours present on our website are run by different tour operators, such as Big Bus and Golden Tour, which means access on the day entirely depends on their staff and vehicle. Payment screens on the website are also provided by our payment providers.

Accessible tours: Wheelchairs and strollers

FAQs

Q. Can someone book for me if I use a screen reader?

Ans. Yes, even if you are using a screen reader, you can book using our email booking@tourhopers.com. You need to email us with the tour, date, and the number of travellers, and we will book it for you. You pay by a secure link.

Q. Can I take a stroller on a hop-on hop-off bus?

Ans. There are certain hop-on hop-off buses that do have stroller space, but there are also buses with no stroller option. It is important to enquire about the same before booking a tour. Big Bus New York and Paris take foldable strollers, stored on the lower deck.

Q. Is the Muir Woods tour wheelchair accessible?

Ans. No, the Muir Woods tour is not wheelchair accessible at the moment. Ask us about other San Francisco tours.
