Download the Big Bus Tours App and retrieve your booking It’s the easiest way to store and show your tickets, track buses live and plan your day. Open the app, tap ‘Add Booking’ and enter your booking reference. Activate on the day On the day of travel, open your bus ticket and press ‘Activate’. Your ticket countdown starts – just show your activated ticket to the driver to board.
How do I activate my ticket?
On the day of travel, activate your ticket in the Big Bus app. Show the activated ticket to board. If needed, staff can issue a paper ticket using your printed voucher or QR code.

Commentary is available in English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, and Italian.
What time do tours run?
Downtown Red Tour: Operating from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, departures every 30 minutes Uptown Blue Tour: Operating from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, departures every 60 minutes First departure is from Stop 1 (M&M’s World), but you can board at any of the 20 Big Bus stops.
What is the child ticket policy?
Children aged 3–12 need a child ticket. Children 2 and under travel free. All children under 15 must be accompanied by someone 15 or older. Strollers must be folded and stored on the lower deck.
What days do tours operate?
Daily, except Thanksgiving (Nov 24) and New Year’s Eve (Dec 31). Service may be affected by severe weather or special events.
Do I need to select a travel date?
Yes, choose your first travel date at checkout. Tickets for multi-day tours must be used on consecutive days. Some extras may require time-slot bookings.
Are the buses wheelchair accessible?
Yes, all buses are wheelchair accessible with a 650 lb lift capacity. Contact us 48 hours in advance for additional assistance. Upper deck access is not guaranteed for all passengers.
How do I request a refund?
If you booked directly with Big Bus Tours, please request your refund via the Big Bus Tours App or the enquiry form on our website. If you booked through a third-party partner, please contact the original provider to arrange your refund.
