To redeem the ticket, exchange your digital voucher at our office located on 99 Jefferson Street, San Francisco, CA 94133 - at the corner of Mason St. The redemption of Alcatraz ferry tickets should take place at least 72 hours before the selected travel date so that we can get back to you with the departure time of the ferry as soon as possible. Departure time is fixed; missing the ferry will result in missing the tour with no refund. The hop-on hop-off bus tour ticket will activate only after you board your first bus, and then you can board any Big Bus Tour bus for the next 2 days.
You can cancel the hop-on hop-off bus tour ticket and get your full money back anytime if it’s more than 24 hours before the departure time. If the ticket is purchased on the same day as travel, no money will be refunded after cancellation.
You can cancel the Alcatraz Island ticket up to 30 days before the departure date. If you cancel the ticket within less than 30 days, a cancellation fee of 50% the total amount will be charged. No money will be refunded in case of cancellation within 5 days prior to the travel date, failure to board the ferry, or no show.
Can I go to Alcatraz Island anytime I wish?
No, you can’t go to Alcatraz Island anytime you wish. The date is selected by you at the time of booking tickets, and the departure time of the ferry is decided by the operator according to availability. The time of your Alcatraz Island tour is fixed.
How long does the Alcatraz tour take?
After getting off the ferry, you can stay on the island as long as you want, but we recommend taking out at least 3 to 4 hours from your whole day so that you can entirely explore the island.
What will be the meeting point?
The first bus departs from the Big Bus Visitor’s Center at 10 in the morning. You can either board it, or you can hop on the bus from any of the stops along the route of your package before the expiration of your ticket. And for Alcatraz Island, the ferry departs from Pier 33, Fisherman's Wharf. You have to reach there at least 20 minutes before your scheduled time.
What date is my Alcatraz tour?
The date you selected while booking the tickets is the final and fixed date of your Alcatraz tour. You must have received an email regarding the confirmation of your ticket where you can see the date of your tour.
